BUTTE MONTANA
 
 
 Take a tour of Butte on Old Number 1 departing from the Chamber of Commerce and see the sites and get some history too on this.  Summer - Memorial Day - Labor Day.  Limited tours through Sept. 30.

                                      THE MINING MUSEUM AND HELL ROARING GULCH 
The world famous World Museum of Mining.  Many interesting things to see and do and they got a nice page as well giving price, things to see and do, history of the museum, etc. One of the must see sites in Butte. 

                               THE MINERAL MUSEUM  
A nice collection of minerals are on display here, including a 27.475 troy ounce gold nugget found in the Highland Mountains south of Butte.  The museum is located on the campus of Montana Tech. 

  
                               OUR LADY OF THE ROCKIES 
The Lady of the Rockies is located on the East Ridge overlooking Butte. They have tours up to her during the summer where one can get a nice view of Butte and some nice scenery as well. Well worth checking it out. 

                               COPPER KING MANSION 
William A. Clark's mansion. One of the stops any person should make when they are in Butte, besides The Dumas Brothel of course!   Has information on tours and a history of the mansion.  

                               BUTTE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE  
Butte's Chamber of Commerce.  Information on the city, attractions, events, even has the weather.  Not a bad site. 

                               BERKELEY PIT EDUCATION SITE 
A site about the Berkeley Pit and the environmental issues dealing with the Pit.  Has a little history about the Pit along with some data on the environmental standards, etc. Nice site for some background information. 
 
                                       THE BUTTE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORP. 
If you're thinking of relocating to Butte for personal or maybe even your business, this site has information of economic, schools, regional, etc. Not a bad site to browse through just to learn a little more about Butte and what makes her tick. 
 

                               THE MONTANA STANDARD  
The newspaper of Butte, Montana.  This site has a webcam that looks out from their office in Uptown Butte that's worth the price of admission. 
  
                               WESTERN MONTANA VIRTUAL GUIDEBOOKS
